What you’ll do
- Serve as Pilot-in-Command, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely medevac operations in accordance with regulations, customer requirements, and company SOPs.
- Lead and mentor the First Officer; promote a just culture and high-performance crew environment.
- Exercise sound operational judgment in dynamic conditions, including IFR, mountainous terrain, and adverse weather.
- Coordinate with medical teams, dispatch, and maintenance to deliver uninterrupted essential services.
- Uphold rigorous safety, compliance, and SMS standards at all times.
What you bring
- Required: ATPL; Group 1 Medical (Transport Canada).
- No Transport Canada violations or suspensions.
- Ability to obtain TSA clearance for simulator training in the United States.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and solid computer/Internet proficiency.
- Fluent or highly proficient in English.
- Preferred experience:
- 3000+ hours total fixed-wing, including 1000+ PIC.
- 1000+ multi-engine hours, including 500+ PIC.
- 100+ hours on type, including 50+ PIC (BE30).
- 500+ hours of mountain flying.
- BE30 type rating and/or an aviation diploma.
- Note:
Successful applicants without a current BE30 type rating will be required to sign a Training Bond Agreement.
