The base salary for this Area Manager II position ranges from $75,000 to $105,000 CAD annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose performance gaps using advanced analytics, identifying root causes and developing data-driven action plans
- Facilitate alignment meetings with senior leadership on department-level goals and priorities
- Manage customer delivery promises, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time across all three workflow stages
- Model safety standards, working in environments with variable temperatures, noise levels, and physical demands including lifting up to 49 lbs and standing for up to 12 hours per shift

Requirements / Skills

Amazon is looking for candidates who combine strong people management skills with analytical thinking and a genuine drive to improve operations. You'll need to be comfortable working a flexible schedule — including weekends, nights, and holidays — and thrive under pressure in a high-volume environment. Preferred candidates will bring experience in process improvement methodologies and managing large teams.

- 2+ years of employee and performance management experience is required for this role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon blue badge/FTE experience
- Flexible availability including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques (preferred)
- Experience managing large teams of 50 or more members (preferred)
- Lean Six Sigma and/or Kaizen process improvement experience is an asset
- Relevant industry background in logistics, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, hospitality, or customer-facing environments is an advantage
