About the Role

Location: Hybrid/Mississauga

Job Type: 6 Months Contract

Qualifications

- Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript or JavaScript, HTML, CSS, component-based design, state management, and integration with backend APIs.
- Strong Oracle Database experience, including SQL, PL/SQL, data modelling, query troubleshooting, and performance considerations.
- Hands-on experience applying large language models, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, document processing, or agent-based patterns within a working application.
- Practical experience with Playwright and automated UI testing, plus API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience building file ingestion, parsing, mapping, validation, and transformation functions for structured or semi-structured data.
- Experience with Git, code reviews, continuous integration and delivery pipelines, Agile delivery, technical documentation, and production support practices.
- Ability to understand operational processes,



challenge unclear requirements, document decisions, and communicate effectively with developers, architects, testers, and business stakeholders.

Required Skills

- Experience deploying or supporting local large language models in an on-premise workplace.
- Experience with vector databases, embedding models, semantic search, or AI evaluation frameworks.
- Experience with Model Context Protocol server or tool development.
- Experience with DROOLS or another rules engine.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift.
- Experience with observability, performance testing, security testing, and application support in a regulated environment.
- Experience with pharmaceutical pricing, pharmacy benefit management, healthcare claims, or other data-intensive healthcare processes.
- Experience designing audit trails, approval controls, rollback processes, and operational dashboards.
