Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Mature Server Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience by providing exceptional support to servers and ensuring that the restaurant operates smoothly. This position requires a passion for customer service, teamwork, attention to detail and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Once trained as an Assistant you will be compensated with a small portion of tips including your hourly rate.

If willing to learn we will train to eventually be a full Server.

Responsibilities

- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Refill water glasses, provide bread or other accompaniments as needed, and assist with clearing dishes from tables.
- Help set up and break down dining areas for special events or busy service periods.
- Monitor guest needs and respond promptly to requests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Clearing tables and resetting tables with fresh cutlery for next course for customers
- Setting table once customer leaves




- Will help with duties like polishing cutlery
- Will receive hourly rate plus some gratuity

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting (minimum 1 Year)
- A minimum of 1 year bartending experience
- Must be well organized
- Must be able to take instructions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a rapid-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
- Must have a Smart Serve
- Must be reliable
- Must be available weekends and holidays and Must be available at least 1 shift during the week as well (we open Wednesday to Sunday)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60 per hour
