- Assist the Superintendent in managing on-site work to ensure construction complies with drawings and specifications
- Support planning and implementation of schedules, manpower levels, material quantities, inspections, equipment, and related requirements
- Monitor work performance to ensure project rules, procedures, and safety requirements are followed
- Advise the Superintendent and Project Manager of potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties, and assist in resolving them
- Maintain and analyze up-to-date cost reports and submit necessary changes to deliver the project within budget
- Meet with stakeholders professionally and communicate the concerns and best interests of the company effectively
Requirements
- Construction‑related degree/diploma and 1–5 years of construction experience, or equivalent combination of technical training and experience
- Experience with concrete and formwork scopes
- Experience with self‑performed work with a General Contractor is an asset
- Working knowledge of scheduling, project management, and contract software such as Primavera, Procore, and Bluebeam
- Knowledge of basic OSHA standards
- Ability to correctly identify problem situations,
evaluate alternative causes, and produce workable solutions in a fast‑paced team workplace
- CISD Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain it is considered an asset
