Infosys Consulting, the management and technology consulting unit of Infosys Ltd, is seeking motivated Insurance Consultants.

Consultants seeking long-term growth and career-enhancing opportunities will find both as part of our team of front-runners in Financial Services Consulting.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the Financial Services industry with a robust understanding of Insurance with experience in Commercial and Specialty Lines.

About the Role The Consultant role is within the Insurance practice of Infosys. This role focuses on partnering with business and technology stakeholders of our clients to help craft and execute their strategy. Consultants provide support to Principal Consultants and Infosys teams in different stages of projects including Strategy, Business Case definition, Requirements, Business Process Design/Re-engineering, Business Architecture, that enables our clients to meet the changing need of the global landscape.

Responsibilities

Execute engagements at Financial Services and Insurance firms as part of complex change and transformation initiatives to address key changes impacting the sub-segments of the industry

Conduct interviews / workshops / walkthroughs with subject matter experts and process owners to elicit and document requirements

Identify data entities and define relationship between them; assist data modelers on building data platforms

Gather and analyze business requirements, processes, design and develop data maps required to support technology transformation initiative

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the client organization and Infosys on technology transformation programs and initiatives

Manage end-to-end project execution, stakeholder communication and minimize engagement risk by proactively identifying issues and recommending courses of remediation





Support business development activities ranging from leading or contributing to proposals and developing propositions

Develop market relevant points of view to generate and sustain presence in the marketplace

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with three years of experience in comparable consulting services

Experience working in P&C; Insurance with specialization in Commercial Lines and Specialty Lines

Experience as a Business Analyst or on large data transformation programs

Experience in process improvement in business operations - has assisted in analysis of current state, root cause analysis, developing insights, identifying solutions, and designing future states

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation

Proven ability to lead projects, build strong and effective business relationships

Ability to facilitate discussions, analyze and de-construct problems, develop structured solutions and categorize challenges in the project environment

Highly motivated with strong analytical acumen and problem-solving skills

Must be willing and able to travel up depending on client requirements

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or equivalent advanced degree

2-3 years of experience working on change initiatives in Insurance firms working either directly or with a reputed professional services firm

Industry-related certification (CPCU, ARM, etc.) is a plus

Experience as a business analyst will be desirable

Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines and challenging constraints

Experience in executing programs using Agile methodologies

Lean / six sigma Certification

Ability and willingness to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary

Estimated annual gross compensation will be $92,840 to $123,470 CAD
