Join the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board as a Designated Substances Technician in Nepean, Ontario. You will directly support the OCDSB's OH&S; management system, ensuring compliance with relevant Acts and Regulations concerning designated substances. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of safety protocols, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct inspections of designated substances and ensure compliance
- Evaluate technical reports and maintain detailed records




- Provide guidance and support regarding designated substances
- Assist during Ministry of Labour investigations
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety
- 3-5 years experience with designated substances management
