Duties

- Prepare a variety of desserts, including pastries, ice creams, toppings, and specialty treats, following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process customer transactions efficiently and accurately
- Handle cash and credit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including food handling areas, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times for customers




- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and ingredients as needed while adhering to sanitation standards

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS for transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle fast-paced environments efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and explicit communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counting
- Understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper kitchen hygiene practices
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks
- Prior experience in serving or cashiering roles is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for creating memorable guest experiences is essential
