You will provide leadership and technical support to foster a strong safety culture across quarry and dock operations.
With over two years of EHS experience required, your expertise will be crucial in ensuring compliance with federal and Nova Scotia legislation while managing environmental inspections and training programs. Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce EHS policies and procedures across operations
- Coordinate comprehensive safety training for all staff
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Manage procurement of safety equipment and supplies
- Prepare monthly reports on site safety and EHS compliance Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in EHS or related field
- Minimum two years of experience in industrial EHS
- Robust knowledge of Nova Scotia EHS regulations
