- Serve as a subject-matter expert and key point of reference for high-voltage/medium-voltage (HV/MV) electrical systems

- Perform advanced analyses of network performance, reliability, and safety

- Develop and use simulation models, particularly in ETAP

- Design and size electrical networks while taking technical, economic, and regulatory constraints into account

- Size and select equipment, including transformers, switchgear, cables, and related components

- Define protection and grounding systems

- Participate in integrating equipment into current or existing facilities

- Contribute to system testing, commissioning, and validation

- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues on site

- Ensure installations comply with applicable standards, including CSA and IEEE standards

- Draft and approve related technical specifications and procedures

- Support clients on public transportation infrastructure projects in Montreal

Requirements

- Degree in electrical engineering or electrotechnical engineering, with a specialization in power systems

- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)

- At least 10 years of experience with HV/MV systems, including design, analysis, and commissioning

- Strong knowledge of HV/MV electrical equipment and its integration

- Expertise in electrical protection, including relays, fuses, and coordination





- Experience with simulation tools such as ETAP

- Good knowledge of applicable standards, including CSA and IEEE standards

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
