The Engineering
Manager leads the engineering team through various product development and production cycles.
The Engineering
Manager will deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions into the manufacturing process and to our customers; and has responsibility for both people management (development, coaching) and project leadership for those projects in their department.

• Engineering Management • Track and report on engineering targets for assigned projects (BOM cost, quality, delivery timing, performance, project and departmental budget) • Provide technical leadership to cross-functional engineering teams to develop and release engineering deliverables in compliance with product development processes and customer Maintain engineering timing plans, defect/issue lists, risk assessments, and lessons learned; provide status updates for project reviews (e.g., Team Leadership &
• Resource Planning • Provide team leadership, coaching, and management support to direct and extended team members • Plan and align resources to ensure projects are staffed appropriately to meet deliverables efficiently and effectively Process Design &
• Quality Compliance • Develop FMEAs, control plans, SOPs, and support problem-solving initiatives by implementing Comply with Quality Operating System (QOS) requirements • Modify plant layouts based on internal/external customer requirements • Maintain knowledge of product design techniques, CAD systems,
drawings, and nesting databases • Initiate and drive justification for equipment and process upgrades to enhance system performance and customer value • Provide industrial engineering and process design expertise to other departments Lean &
• Continuous Improvement • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve plant productivity • Assist in commissioning of recent plants, lines, equipment, and systems to ensure efficient integration with minimal disruption Ensure facilities are in full compliance with all safety regulations Perform other duties necessary for project completion and departmental goals • Follow all operational procedures and policies outlined in the Employee Handbook and Quality and Environmental programs (IATF, ISO 14001) College Diploma or University Degree in the Mechanical Engineering field • Minimum 5 years’ related experience in the automotive or fabrication field with a proven track record of exemplary performance • Minimum 5 years’ experience with the latest CAD software modules: design and layout, ideally has experience working with Pro-Engineer, Solidworks &
• Auto CAD • In depth knowledge of process improvement tools, product design techniques, mechanical drawing standards and GD&T; • Prior experience with metal cutting, forming, welding (manual and robotic) and machining • Knowledge of Lean techniques • Ability to travel if require The compensation for this role is reflective of the successful candidates, skills, abilities, education, market analysis and internal equity and other role specific considerations.
