Experienced Cabinet Maker

Blue Ribbon Millwork Corp. is a growing family-owned custom millwork company based in Edmonton, Alberta. We specialize in high-quality residential and commercial cabinetry and millwork, building custom projects with precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

We are looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker and Installer who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and can contribute both in our shop and on-site.

Position Details

- Full-time, Permanent
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Compensation: $18.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience, demonstrated skill, and overall fit.

The lower end of the wage range is intended for candidates with limited cabinet-making experience who possess the attitude, reliability, and work ethic we’re looking for. Experienced cabinet makers who can demonstrate strong skills and quality workmanship will be compensated accordingly. Performance and wage reviews are conducted as employees demonstrate competency and growth within the role.

Responsibilities

As part of our shop team, you will be involved in all aspects of cabinet manufacturing and installing, including:

- Cabinet assembly
- Reading shop drawings
- Cutting and preparing materials
- Edge banding
- Operating woodworking machinery, including CNC and dowel machines
- Sanding and finishing preparation
- Assisting with painting and finishing
- Loading and unloading materials
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized shop
- Working with the team to complete custom millwork projects on schedule
- Deliver, unload, install, level, and secure cabinetry and custom millwork on site
- Install kitchens, vanities, built-ins, panels, trim, closets, and other custom millwork
- Make required on-site adjustments for a clean, precise finish
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, builders, designers, and other trades when required
- Protect finished materials and maintain a clean, respectful job site





Applicants should already have experience working in a cabinet, woodworking, or millwork environment. While we provide training on our shop’s processes and equipment, we are looking for individuals who are comfortable using standard woodworking tools and are committed to producing quality work.

Physical Requirements

- Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing and performing physical work throughout the day
- Able to safely lift, carry, and install cabinetry and millwork with the team
- Comfortable working both in a shop environment and at active construction sites
