- Administer and coordinate scheduled payroll runs with the third-party payroll provider, including payroll entries, employee changes, and payroll reconciliations - Support payroll year-end activities, including reconciliations, reporting, and preparation of required year-end documentation - Perform bookkeeping activities for the College - Process enrollments, terminations and other changes related to benefits plans - Respond to and resolve pay and benefit-related inquiries and problems - Provide support during the annual audit - Support processing of member payments and transactions - Investigate issues with member payments and provide updates to the Registration Department - Prepare monthly reconciliations and ad-hoc financial reports, business cases, and project budgets - Assist with budgets, forecasts, long-term financial plans, and analysis of changes to the College's financial position - Keep up-to-date with applicable legislation, trends and practices - Perform other duties as assigned Requirements - Four-year university program in Finance or Accounting - Enrolled in the Canadian Payroll Association program - 2 to 3 years' experience including technical experience with accounting, budgeting, payroll, financial reporting/analysis, and audit - Current knowledge of Canadian financial reporting - Knowledge of accounting and payroll software, and office/administrative software (Microsoft Office) - Judgment,
