Junior Estimator SiteTalent is hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established civil contractor based in Maple Ridge, BC, serving projects across the Lower Mainland. Known for their work in earthworks, underground utilities, road construction, onsite servicing, excavation, and land clearing, our client takes on commercial, industrial, institutional, residential, and municipal infrastructure projects. Our client is looking for a Junior Estimator to join their team and grow into a key part of the preconstruction process.

Review plans, specifications, and tender or contract documents Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs, both hard copy and digital Support the collection and evaluation of supplier and subcontractor quotations Assist with site visits and pre-bid meetings Help prepare cost estimates,



including lump sum and unit rate pricing Contribute to project handoff documentation for the operations team 1-4 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field ~ Some experience with quantity takeoff or modelling software ~ Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contracts ~ Strong math and computer skills ~ Assets: Experience with Carlson Software Civil construction field experience Background in civil design, drafting, inspection, or survey Competitive Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 Discretionary Bonus Extended health, dental & medical advantages (after 3 months), plus vision care Company wellness program and vacation pay We are a specialized growth and talent partner for the industrial sector.
