Experience Level: 0–3 years PQE (Ontario Call) As Junior Lawyer, you will support KSI Law's Litigation practice across its full range of matters — building foundational litigation experience under senior counsel while contributing directly to active files from day one. Drafting pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents. Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda on litigation issues.

Assisting senior counsel in preparing for examinations for discovery, mediations, and trials. Attending court appearances, case conferences, and motions with senior counsel. Supporting client communications and providing status updates under senior counsel's direction.

Contributing across the firm's litigation sub-practices, including commercial litigation, employment and labour, professional negligence and insurance, and arbitration and mediation matters. Strong legal research and writing skills. ~ Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment.



~ Prior litigation experience gained through articling or summer/student placements. Exposure to commercial litigation, employment law, or professional negligence matters.

CanLII and Westlaw Canada for legal research. Ontario's civil court e-filing systems (Case Center, Civil Claims/Civil Submissions Online, and the Ontario Courts Public Portal, depending on region) for court filings and hearing materials.
