Role Description The Kitchen Helper is a part-time, on-site role based in Laval, QC. In this role, the team member supports cooks and kitchen staff with basic food preparation, organizing ingredients, and setting up workstations. Daily tasks include washing, peeling, and cutting food items, maintaining cleanliness of kitchen surfaces and equipment, and handling dishwashing and garbage disposal.

Helper helps with stocking supplies, respecting hygiene and safety standards, and responsible for preparing salads .



This position contributes to smooth kitchen operations and ensures timely service for guests.

Qualifications

- Strong food preparation skills, including basic cutting, measuring, and organizing ingredients.
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety practices, and cleanliness standards.
- Basic cooking abilities and familiarity with food and beverage service environments.
- Customer service mindset with the ability to support front-of-house needs when required.
- Ability to follow instructions, work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, and collaborate with a diverse team.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen is an asset but not required.
- Availability to work weekends, and holidays as needed.
