Math Teaching Assistant Kumon West Shore - Langford

Kumon is the world's largest after-school learning program. We are currently seeking a part-time Math Teaching Assistant at our Langford centre. This position is a great opportunity if you are considering a career in teaching or childcare or have previous experience in these fields.

Applicants must be available on

Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 to 6:30pm; and

Saturday from 10:00am to 12:30pm.

Qualifications

- Excellent math skills.
- High school diploma. Some university education is preferred.
- Mature, dependable and detailed oriented.
- Enjoy working with young students.

Specific Responsibilities

- Mark math homework.
- Support students by coaching and guiding them to develop independent study skills.
- Maintain a neat and qualified work area. Assist with cleaning and organizing the classroom.
- Familiarize with the centre routine.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
