Staffmax is helping our healthcare client hire a compassionate and organized Medical Receptionist for a 4-month contract. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and play a crucial part in maintaining a smooth, professional medical office environment.

Contract length: 4 months

Location: Vancouver, BC

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments
- Update patient records and maintain accurate files in EMR systems
- Process payments and issue receipts
- Ensure the waiting area is tidy and welcoming
- Liaise with doctors, nurses, and other staff to coordinate patient care

Requirements:





- Previous experience in a medical or clinic setting
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as Accuro, OSCAR, or similar
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism
- Organized, with great attention to detail and multitasking ability
