Provide community visits to assess abilities and needs of individuals

Work with multidisciplinary teams and equipment vendors to facilitate function

Provide treatment for pediatric clients in home or school services and/or adults with medical/health concerns

Maintain professional client records in compliance with ParaMed policies and regulatory standards Requirements - Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists (in good standing) - Accepting New Graduates Licensed - ADP authorization preferred - Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Knowledge of applicable community resources available for clients and families - Current certification (within the past 12 months) of First Aid and CPR - A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle - Able to provide a current, clear Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in client-centered occupational therapy, utilizing evidence-based problem-solving and critical thinking to assess and address individual needs.
