Elevate aquatic program services as a Part-Time Lifeguard/Instructor Level 2 at the Regional District of Nanaimo's Ravensong Aquatic Centre. Contribute to the Recreation Department with your lifeguarding and instruction expertise. We are seeking two dedicated Lifeguard/Instructors to join our Aquatic Services team.

This permanent part-time role requires engaging in community aquatic programs while assisting team members to meet departmental goals. Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and necessary certifications. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide supervision for aquatic programs and patrons
- Assist in meeting service expectations and departmental objectives
- Maintain safety standards in the aquatic workplace
- Train and mentor junior lifeguards and instructors
- Contribute to the operation of the Ravensong Aquatic Centre Requirements:
- High school diploma and 1-3 years experienced in aquatics
- National Lifeguard Award and CPR Certification
- Recognized First Aid Certification or WorkSafeBC equivalency
- Pool Operator Level 1 certification
