Service Co-ordinator – Community Services & Distress Brief Intervention (DBI)
Do you want to play a leading role in shaping innovative community mental health services that make a genuine difference every day?
RAMH is one of Scotland's leading third sector mental health organisations, supporting thousands of people each year to improve their mental health, wellbeing and recovery. We believe everyone should have access to compassionate, person-centred support at the right time, delivered by people who genuinely care.
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and inspirational Service Co-ordinator to join our Community Services leadership team.
Working alongside the Service Manager, you will provide operational leadership across our Community Services while taking the lead for the delivery and ongoing development of the Scottish Government's Distress Brief Intervention (DBI) Programme across Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire.
This is far more than a coordination role.
It is an chance to influence how community mental health services are delivered, develop and inspire a skilled multidisciplinary team, strengthen partnerships across health, social care and emergency services, and ensure people experiencing emotional distress receive timely, compassionate and evidence-based support.
You’ll lead a team committed to recovery,
oversee complex referrals and risk management, support staff through coaching and supervision, champion quality improvement and use data, evidence and lived experience to continually develop services.
Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will maintain a small practice caseload, ensuring your leadership remains grounded in direct service delivery and the experiences of the people we support.
No two days are the same. One day you may be supporting practitioners with complex clinical decisions, meeting with Police Scotland or Primary Care colleagues to strengthen referral pathways, reviewing service performance and leading quality improvement. The next you may be facilitating reflective practice, supporting someone in distress through the DBI programme or helping shape the future direction of Community Services.
