Join the Child and Youth Mental Health team in Kirkland Lake as a Registered Clinician. Provide essential psychotherapy and assessments for children and adolescents in need of support. In this full time, eighteen-month contract position, you will be pivotal in delivering therapy and support for behavioral, social, and emotional needs of youth and their families.
The right candidate will thrive in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment while applying clinical skills in children's mental health. Bilingualism in English and French is essential for fostering effective communication within the community. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to youth
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments for families
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals
- Support children's emotional and behavioral needs
- Engage with families to promote overall well-being Requirements:
- Master’s in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline
- Registration with the appropriate Ontario health college
- Proven skills in children's mental health
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals
