Sets measurable performance goals and participates on professional committees to advocate for the clinical area. Participates in staff selection and performance evaluation as requested. Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Three (3) years of recent related clinical experience in the designated clinical area, including one (1) year in an educational/leadership role, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Post-graduate coursework or certification applicable to the designated clinical area is preferred. Valid BC Driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.

Knowledge of Home Support policies within the program management structure of Home Health. Knowledge of adult learning principles and critical thinking. Knowledge of nursing theory and evidence-based practice.

Ability to develop, implement and revise education/training and orientation programs. Ability to provide leadership through modeling, coaching and mentoring. Ability to operate related equipment and software applications.
