This full-time role requires five to seven years of indirect tax experience, strong knowledge of Canadian tax legislation, and the ability to coach and develop tax analysts. As part of a committed team, you will support compliance, manage audits, and ensure accuracy in tax reporting. Key Responsibilities:
- Review and file monthly indirect and excise tax returns
- Lead indirect tax audits with the Canada Revenue Agency
- Analyze tax legislation and provide guidance to partners
- Maintain indirect tax configurations in ERP systems
- Support audits and compliance activities for internal controls Requirements:
- 5 to 7 years of indirect tax experience
- Knowledge of the Canadian Excise Tax Act
- Robust problem-solving and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
