Role Description This is a full-time, in office role based in Montreal, QC, combining Software Developer and E-Commerce Operations Manager responsibilities. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web portals, internal tools, and integrations that support ordering, inventory visibility, and fulfillment workflows. Day-to-day tasks include managing e-commerce platform operations, optimizing product listings, monitoring site performance, and coordinating with production, warehousing, and customer service teams to ensure accurate, timely order processing.
The person in this role will analyze data to improve system reliability and operational efficiency, troubleshoot technical and process issues, and implement enhancements to support large-scale apparel programs. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders is expected to align technology solutions with business goals and user needs.
Qualifications
- Strong software development skills,
including experience with modern web technologies (e.g., HTML/CSS/JavaScript, frameworks, APIs) and database design.
- Hands-on experience managing e-commerce platforms (such as Shopify, Magento, or comparable systems) and overseeing online product catalogs, pricing, and promotions.
- Background in operations or supply chain for e-commerce, including order management, inventory control, and coordination with warehousing and fulfillment.
- Proficiency in systems integration, data flows, and automation between web portals, ERP, CRM, and third-party logistics tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational and sales data to drive process improvements.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with technical, production, and business teams.
- Experience in apparel, retail, or manufacturing environments is an asset, especially supporting high-volume, multi-channel programs.
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Montreal, QC and manage priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented setting.
