The Lethbridge Police Service is currently acceptingapplications for a permanent full-time Strategic Intelligence Analyst - CISA.Reporting administratively to the Staff Sergeant in Charge, Lethbridge PoliceService Combined Forces Special Enforcement Section (CFSEU), the successfulcandidate will support the Criminal Intelligence Service Alberta/NorthwestTerritories (CISA/NWT) and receive day-to-day operational direction from theCISA/NWT Director and/or Analyst Supervisor. The position remains an employeeof the Lethbridge Police Service while working collaboratively within theCISA/NWT intelligence network.

The Strategic Intelligence Analyst is responsible forthe collection, integration, analysis, evaluation, and dissemination ofstrategic criminal intelligence relating to organized and serious crimeaffecting Alberta, the Northwest Territories,



and Canada. The position developsintelligence products and analytical assessments that support intelligence-ledpolicing, operational priorities, resource allocation, organizationaldecision-making, investigative direction, and long-term public safety planning.

Working within a complex multi-agency setting, theStrategic Intelligence Analyst collaborates with municipal, provincial,federal, Indigenous, and government partners to identify emerging threats,organized crime groups, criminal networks, criminal markets, evolving crimetrends, and intelligence gaps requiring further collection or analysis.
