DZ Flatbed Driver - Days

Shift: 5:30am-2:00pm, Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $26.00/hr
Location: Ottawa East

We are currently looking for an experienced DZ Driver with 2+ years of experience to work with a well-known transportation supply company in the East End of Ottawa. This is a great chance for stability, growth, and advancement within your driving career.

Responsibilities:

- Deliveries and pick-ups of supplies to construction sites in the Ottawa and surrounding areas
- Verifying delivery manifests
- Operating a 10-ton dual axle or 5-ton single axle flatbed
- Ensuring the load is safely secured to the truck and completing a safety circle check before leaving the yard
- Reading road maps quickly and efficiently for directions to delivery sites
- Reporting any safety/mechanical issues with the assigned truck to supervisors immediately
- Clearly communicating with customers on delivery sites and/or over mobile phones




- Always being courteous to customers
- Maintaining the truck to ensure it is safe and in good working order
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Abstract and CVOR printed within the last 30 days
- 2 years of verifiable DZ truck operation
- Load securement experience
- Valid DZ license
