Role Description The Student Motivator is a full-time remote role responsible for inspiring, guiding, and supporting students to reach their personal, academic, and leadership potential. On a day-to-day basis, this role conducts virtual mentoring sessions, follows up on students’ progress, and provides individualized encouragement and practical advice.

The Student

Motivator designs and facilitates online workshops and discussions on topics such as goal setting, time management, resilience, and leadership. The role also collaborates with program coordinators to identify students who need additional support, develops motivational content and resources,



and maintains accurate records of student engagement and outcomes.

Motivator actively contributes ideas to improve Wendi’s youth and education initiatives and upholds the organization’s values of empowerment, respect, and inclusion.

Qualifications

- Ability to motivate and mentor students, including strong listening skills, empathy, and encouragement-focused communication.
- Experience facilitating group sessions, workshops, or training programs, preferably in youth development, education, or community work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt messages to diverse audiences.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple students, sessions, and follow-ups in a remote full-time environment.
- Comfort using digital tools for work from home (video conferencing, messaging platforms, basic office applications, and online collaboration tools).
- Background in education, counseling, social work, youth leadership, or related fields is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated commitment to empowerment, inclusion, and community development, ideally with experience working with young people.
- Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate cultural sensitivity when engaging students from diverse backgrounds.
