Job Overview

Responsible to supervise and coordinate specific warehouse, receiving, production and shipping activities. The role will ensure that all employees work within the established regulations, policies and procedures with regards to health and safety, the environment, and quality.

Shift

Night (11 PM – 7 AM)

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate receiving of inbound Raw Material and shipping of Finished goods products

Assign, prioritize and supervise work duties in order to meet schedules

Requisition material and supplies to support daily operations and monitoring associated inventory

Complete documentation required under regulatory regulations

Coordinate receiving of inbound Raw Material and shipping of Finished goods products

Document and record all workplace incidents immediately in the form of incident reports

Follow and guide other on company’s health and safety program, rules and procedures and work in compliance with health and safety-related legislation and codes

Provide employees with continual input on work performance and act as a guide for improvement





Perform problem solving/ route cause analysis when problem or errors occur; Scan material in and out of supermarket or warehouse, print required documents and labels

Identify and resolve issues in various functional areas including line feeding, re-pack, put-away & pick areas

Proactively respond to and resolve workplace conflicts respectfully and appropriately

Proactively engage in problem solving as issues arise and lead others to do the same

Release orders as appropriate following the established guidelines and procedures

Daily reconciliation of order status

Monitor and track time and attendance for employees assigned to the Inbound/Outbound area

Maintain clean and protected working environment

Perform system and/or manual tasks to support inbound and outbound operations

Check NAV computer system for correct locations for put-away/picking problems for orders

Distribute/delegate orders on a daily basis to operators/employees

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, promoting a culture of integrity, ethics, and respect.

Foster a supportive team culture and environment conducive to collaboration and growth

Follow company’s health and safety program, rules and procedures and work in compliance with health and safety-related legislation and codes

Report all incidents, injuries, illnesses, and near misses to your supervisor

Use or wear safety equipment and personal protective equipment required by the company

Report to supervisor any hazardous or unsafe conditions,



absence or defects in equipment and any contravention of health and safety legislation

Working Conditions

Exposure to heavy machinery

Exposure to loud noises

Exposure to forklift and other machine traffic

Exposure to extreme heat

Requirement to lift up to 50lbs and work in a repetitive motion

Recipe For Success

Completion of high school education or equivalent

Minimum two (2) years experience in the Manufacturing industry in a Shipping and Receiving role

Forklift Operator Certification an asset

Effective stress management skills

Ability to work without direct supervision

Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

Working knowledge of health & safety requirements

Ability to quickly learn inhouse systems

Deadline oriented with an ability to work with a sense of urgency

Basic knowledge of HACCP/GMP requirements

Ability to work in a team, and/or under minimal supervision
