Position Description

We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex technology and data initiatives within a financial services environment. This role requires strong project leadership, hands-on Earned Value Management (EVM) and financial control experience, technical depth within Credit Union environments, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and evolving priorities

Your future duties and responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end project delivery across scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, and dependencies.

- Establish project governance and facilitate sponsor, stakeholder, and Steering Committee forums.

- Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies to track project performance, including planned value, earned value, actual costs, schedule and cost variances, and forecasting.

- Maintain hands-on financial control of projects, including budgets, actuals, forecasts, variances, and financial reporting.

- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, change controls, and Project Change Requests (PCRs).

- Coordinate delivery across business, technology, data, support teams, and external vendors.

- Provide senior leadership with clear reporting on project health, financial performance, risks, and delivery progress.

- Navigate ambiguity, establish structure, and drive stakeholder alignment and decision making.

- Ensure deliverables meet business, technical, quality, compliance, time, and cost requirements.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

- Senior-level experience leading complex, cross-functional technology projects.

- Project management experience within FinTech, banking, or Credit Union environments.

- Strong technical understanding of Credit Union environments and related technology initiatives.





- Demonstrated hands-on experience applying Earned Value Management (EVM) to project planning, performance measurement, forecasting, and financial control.

- Hands-on experience managing project budgets, actuals, forecasts, cost and schedule variances, and financial reporting.

- Strong project governance, risk, issue, dependency, and change control experience.

- Experience presenting project health and financial performance to senior leadership and Steering Committees.

- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments with evolving requirements and priorities.

Assets

- Experience with data governance and data-related transformation initiatives.

- Experience working with business data stewards and data quality initiatives.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications.

Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,000–$145,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
