**Hiring Now: Care Attendants Wanted!** Hi, I’m Olivia. I navigate daily life with a physical disability and am looking to hire care attendants (preferably female) to work with me at home starting August 2026. PSW training or care experience helps but isn’t required.* I live in the Beaches, East York area of Toronto. My home is non-smoking, pet-free, and my mother lives with me. I use a program called Self-Managed Attendant Services or Direct Funding (DF), funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. This means the Ministry gives me money directly to hire my own attendants (PSWs). There’s no agency—you work directly for me. I’m your employer and will train you on my routines. More info: www.dfontario.ca This is a part-time role starting* at $23/hour, with travel allowance included. You’ll be paid biweekly with standard deductions (CPP, EI, Income Tax). You’re covered by WSIB. You’ll receive 4% vacation pay on every paycheck (so vacations are unpaid), and you’ll be paid for all 9 public holidays per the Employment Standards Act, whether you work or not. **Your main duties:** - Assisting with partial dressing, transferring, accessing needed items, and partial grooming/hygiene/bathing - Helping with stretching exercises (ROM), therapies, and other exercises - Meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry,



and possible errands like groceries - My apartment has a lift system but isn’t fully accessible throughout. **Other requirements:** - English speaking - I am sensitive to chemical smells—No heavily perfumed laundry products which emanate from your clothing please! (like Tide, Gain, Downy) - Non-smokers and no recreational drug use. - Flexible schedule—excellent for a second job! Looking to fill few hour shifts throughout the week and weekends-primarily afternoons/evenings-maximum 33.5hrs/week*. -Must be either a permanent resident, have citizenship or at least a 1yr work permit. -police check must be current and submitted before I can add you onto the payroll. We will then arrange a short interview over the phone/video call. Guaranteed employment depends on successfully completing a 3-month probation.
