Delivery Truck Driver

Fenstür Windows and Doors is looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Delivery Truck Driver to join our team in Duncan, BC.

This is a union position primarily operating a 5-ton box truck. The position includes weekly deliveries throughout Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland, with trips to Alberta approximately every two to four weeks. Additional deliveries and pickups will be completed as required between scheduled truck runs.

The successful candidate will be professional, dependable, careful with finished products, and comfortable assisting with loading and unloading.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a 5-ton box truck
- Complete weekly delivery runs throughout Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland
- Complete delivery trips to Alberta approximately every two to four weeks
- Handle additional deliveries and pickups between scheduled truck runs
- Deliver windows, doors, and related products to customers and job sites
- Assist with loading, securing, and unloading products
- Ensure products are properly protected and secured during transportation
- Complete required delivery paperwork and vehicle inspections
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and coworkers
- Follow all company safety procedures and transportation regulations
- Assist with shipping and warehouse duties when not completing deliveries

Requirements

- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with air-brake endorsement
- Clean driving record




- Experience driving a 5-ton truck or similar commercial vehicle
- Comfortable completing longer-distance and occasional overnight trips
- Able to safely lift and handle large or heavy products with assistance
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to preventing product damage
- Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently
- Qualified attitude and good communication skills
- Familiarity with Vancouver Island, Lower Mainland, and Alberta routes is an asset
- Forklift experience is an asset
