Reporting to the Product Owner, Advanced Technology, the Machine Learning Project Manager leads our machine learning initiatives and drives the successful delivery of projects in this field. As a Machine Learning Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and implementation of machine learning projects, working closely with cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders.In this position, you’ll use your business and project management skills to play a pivotal role in facilitating exceptional relationships with Amii’s clients. You’ll bridge the gap between business and technical expertise while focusing your skills on planning and executing client engagements. Using your strong communication skills, you will keep all stakeholders and team members well informed on project progress and performance.Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope,



and success criteria for machine learning projectsTake responsibility for end-to-end project deliverables and outcomes while managing and exceeding client expectationsDevelop a thorough understanding of client needs and work to coordinate internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of client engagementsManage all project and client engagement aspects, such as dates, budgets, performance indicators, progress reports, contract agreements, and invoicingFacilitate communication and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders and team membersCapture project outputs, track project deliverables, glean insights/best practices/lessons learned and incorporate feedback to continuously improve client engagementStay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in machine learning and identify opportunities for their application within client organizationInspire and motivate cross-functional teams using excellent leadership and team management skillsEffectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levelsRequired Qualifications
Post Secondary Degree in Science, Engineering, Business or related fieldPMP and/or PMI-ACP certification3 - 5+ years experience in industry managing projects in a technology focused environmentDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities effectivelyIntermediate understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques across various domains,



including their strengths and limitationsProficiency in project management software and tools (e.G. Asana, Miro)Attributes and Expectations
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levelsWorks independently and make informed decisions while collaborating with team members and subject matter expertsSolid organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detailDemonstrates a positive, group-win approach and a willingness to help, learn and shareExhibits confidence and sound judgment while collaborating with subject matter expertsPromotes cross-functional collaboration and establishes credibility while influencing peers to achieve common goalsWhat you'll love about us
