- Own month-end and year-end close for a multi-entity organization, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation in line with internal policies and applicable accounting standards
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor reconciliations, including reconciliation support for US-based subsidiaries and cross-border accounting considerations
- Partner with cross-functional teams and external auditors on financial reporting, audit preparation, tax compliance, and process improvements to accounting controls
About You
- A progressive accountant with 4+ of experience in a corporate or multi-entity environment, with a solid grasp of both US and Canadian accounting principles
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables,
and comfort working with accounting software in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the analytical and communication skills to manage multiple priorities and work independently or as part of a team; CPA designation or progress toward one is an asset
Pay Range
$40 - $45 per hour
You must currently reside within the Greater Toronto Area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this chance.
