Accounts Senior - Peterborough

Clark Wood is working with a leading accountancy practice who are looking for an experienced Accounts Senior to join their growing team.

This is a great opportunity to manage a wide-ranging portfolio of clients while joining a supportive firm offering excellent career progression.

The Role

- Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
- Prepare corporation tax computations and returns.
- Assist with personal tax matters.
- Review bookkeeping and VAT returns.
- Provide advice and support to clients.
- Mentor and review the work of junior team members.
- Manage deadlines and attend client meetings where required.

About You

- 3+ years’ UK accountancy practice experience.
- ACA/ACCA qualified.
- Robust accounts preparation experience.
- Good knowledge of FRS 102 and UK GAAP.
- Experience with Xero, Sage and QuickBooks.
- Strong communication and client management skills.
