Become a crucial part of Amrize as a Highway Maintenance Operator in Northern Alberta. This full time role requires truck operation and manual maintenance tasks to support highway safety. You’ll engage in 12-hour shifts, alternating as needed.
Your tasks include inspecting highways, operating snow plow trucks, conducting repairs, and maintaining a record of work completed. Compliance with safety measures and participation in safety training will bolster team safety and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect highways and document road conditions
- Operate trucks for snow removal and maintenance tasks
- Engage in repairs including crack sealing and guardrails
- Handle equipment maintenance and servicing
- Complete required paperwork efficiently
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years’ truck driving experience
- Required Class 3 driver’s license with air brake
- Willingness to travel to remote areas
- Strong adherence to safety processes
