This role involves supporting and maintaining critical banking applications on z/OS, focusing on batch cycles, patch management, regulatory changes, and interface maintenance. The position operates under a Keep-the-Lights-On (KTLO) mandate, ensuring the seamless operation of essential banking processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with CSI Hogan on z/OS – DDA, CIF, CLS, GL, CD
- Proficiency in COBOL
- Knowledge of IMS DB/TM
- Familiarity with VSAM
- Understanding of JCL
- Banking Regulatory/Compliance expertise – BSA/AML, Reg D, CFPB rules
- Prior work experience in the banking industry
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with CICS, DB2,
and z/OS Connect EE
- Knowledge of ITIL
- Familiarity with Endevor / ZMF
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support and maintain CSI Hogan applications on z/OS
- Manage and monitor batch cycles and production processing
- Perform PTF impact assessments and patch promotions
- Implement and support regulatory and compliance changes
- Maintain critical banking interfaces, including ACH, Fed Wire, and ATM feeds
- Provide ongoing production and KTLO support
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and batch-related issues
