Title: Application Developer – Microsoft .NET Stack

Location: Ottawa, Canada (Hybrid/Onsite – as per client requirement)

Duration: Contract (6 Months)

Payrates: C$35/Hr. to C$40/Hr.

The client is looking for an experienced Application Developer – Microsoft .NET Stack to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications for large-scale business systems. The role involves working on full software development lifecycle activities including requirement analysis, application design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support within an IBM delivery workplace.

The candidate will collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Microsoft .NET technologies and related tools.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft .NET framework / .NET Core / ASP.NET

- Proficiency in C#, OOP concepts, and enterprise application development
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services integration
- Solid understanding of SQL Server and database design




- Experience with debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Microsoft .NET stack

- Write clean, scalable, and efficient C# code for enterprise systems
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services
- Work with SQL Server for data modeling, queries, and stored procedures
- Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions
- Participate in full SDLC including design, development, testing, and deployment
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely fixes and enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders
- Ensure application security, performance, and scalability standards are met
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and best development practices
- Support continuous improvement of development processes and system architecture
