Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the installation, repair, and testing of piping systems on marine vessels and industrial sites




- Read and interpret marine and industrial blueprints, schematics, pipe detail arrangement drawings, and both standard and metric specifications
- Layout, measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipe systems including fittings, flanges, and valves
- Work with various pipe materials including carbon steel, copper-nickel, and stainless steel
- Support journeypersons by following direction and ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained
- Maintain tools and equipment and contribute to a clean, safe, and organized worksite

Qualifications:

- Registered Pipefitter Apprentice
- Previous experience in a marine or industrial environment is considered an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety
- Valid safety certifications including:
- Confined Space
- Fall Protection
- WHMIS
