Automation Quality Engineer (QE) – 6 to 8 Years Experience

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation Quality Engineer with 6–8 years of hands‐on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure high‐quality, scalable, and reliable software releases.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for web, API, and/or mobile applicationsDevelop automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similarAutomate API testing using tools like RestAssured, Postman, or KarateIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)Execute functional, regression, smoke, and integration testsAnalyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolutionParticipate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning,



stand‐ups, retrospectives)Review requirements and provide early feedback from a quality and testability perspectiveMaintain test data, test environments, and test execution reportsMentor junior QE team members and promote best practices in test automationRequired Skills & QualificationsExperience6–8 years of experience in software quality engineering, with solid focus on test automationTechnical SkillsStrong proficiency in Java / Python / JavaScript (at least one)Hands‐on experience with automation tools such as:Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / TestNG / JUnitExperience in API automation (REST services)Good understanding of BDD/TDD (Cucumber, SpecFlow, etc.)Experience with version control systems (Git)Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelinesStrong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologiesTesting KnowledgeFunctional, Regression, Integration, and Smoke TestingTest strategy creation and test planningDefect tracking using tools like JIRA, Azure Boards, etc.
