Automotive Dismantler

IQM Auto Parts is hiring a full-time Automotive Dismantler for our Brooks, Alberta location.

We are looking for someone reliable, hardworking, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working around vehicles and heavy parts.

Responsibilities

- Dismantle cars, trucks, and SUVs
- Remove engines, transmissions, differentials, suspension, body parts, interiors, and other automotive components
- Operate a forklift to move vehicles, engines, transmissions, and parts
- Drain vehicle fluids and prepare vehicles for dismantling
- Tag, organize, and store removed parts
- Remove parts carefully to avoid unnecessary damage
- Keep the dismantling area clean, organized, and safe
- Follow daily dismantling and production priorities

Requirements:
- Automotive or mechanical experience preferred
- Forklift experience
- Auto recycling or dismantling experience is an asset
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and air tools




- Able to identify common automotive components
- Physically capable of lifting and handling automotive parts
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Able to work outdoors when required

Position Details:
- Full time
- Approximately 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Pay: $17–$24 per hour
- Starting wage depends on experience and ability

Experience working in an auto recycling yard, mechanic shop, salvage yard, or similar environment is a strong asset. To apply, please include your automotive/mechanical experience, dismantling experience, and forklift experience.

Pay: $17.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45.0 per week
