Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on automobiles, heavy equipment, excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct maintenance tasks including oil changes, brake repairs, engine tune-ups, electrical system troubleshooting, and hydraulic system servicing.
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and industrial equipment safely and efficiently during repair or maintenance procedures.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized machinery to complete repairs accurately.
- Interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications; document all work performed thoroughly.




- Assist customers by explaining repairs needed or completed while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Experience

- Proven experience working as an automotive mechanic or in heavy equipment maintenance within a dealership or industrial setting.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes along with experience in electrical systems troubleshooting.
- Hands-on knowledge of operating excavators, cranes, forklifts, or similar heavy machinery is highly desirable.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and reading schematics for complex mechanical systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning), hydraulics, and electrical components.
- Experience with farm machinery or industrial equipment maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy components safely during maintenance tasks; comfort with heavy lifting required.
