Duties
- Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on vehicles using schematics, diagnostic tools, and hand tools
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake replacements, and fluid checks
- Repair and service electrical components to ensure optimal performance
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues effectively
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate clearly with customers about repairs needed and completed
- Assist with assembly of vehicle parts or industrial equipment during repair or upgrade processes
Requirements
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong mechanical knowledge base
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various work environments
- Skilled in the use of power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic devices
- Knowledge of electrical systems and schematics relevant to automotive or industrial equipment
- Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities
- Prior experience working with industrial equipment is desirable
- Valid mechanic experience certification or relevant technical training preferred
