Speedy Auto Service St. Catharines is looking for a motivated Automotive Technician or Registered Automotive Apprentice to join our team.
We are open to
- Licensed 310S Automotive Service Technicians
- Automotive apprentices working toward their 310S licence
We are looking for someone interested in a stable, long-term career, not temporary employment.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for vehicle maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs based on your experience and skill level.
Licensed technicians should be comfortable working independently and diagnosing complex vehicle concerns.
Apprentices will work alongside experienced technicians while continuing to develop their diagnostic and repair skills.

Selection & Skills Evaluation
Shortlisted candidates may be invited to complete a paid practical skills assessment.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle inspections
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns
- Perform automotive repairs and maintenance
- Oil changes and preventative maintenance
- Tire installation, balancing, rotations, and repairs
- Brake repairs
- Steering and suspension repairs
- General mechanical repairs
- Use diagnostic equipment and shop systems
- Document inspection findings accurately
- Verify completed repairs
- Windshield Replacement/Repair
- Communicate findings with Service Advisors and management
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all shop safety and repair procedures
- Assist other technicians when required
- Take responsibility for the quality of your work

Requirements
- 310S licence OR registered automotive apprentice
- Previous automotive repair experience
- Valid driver's licence
- Basic to advanced diagnostic ability depending on experience level
- Own tools appropriate to your experience level
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Professional attitude and solid work ethic
