Back Shop Attendant Duties & Responsibilities The Back Shop attendant supports our daily golf operations through equipment preparation, cart management, facility upkeep and maintenance. The Attendant is to greet all members and guests in a professional manner as they often interact as a first impression or last impression.

Cart & Equipment Operations

- Prepare, stage, clean, and maintain golf carts for daily use
- Charge, fuel, and inspect carts to ensure protected operations
- Refill Sand Bottles and replace in carts
- Report mechanical issues, damage, or safety concerns promptly and complete associated reports required

Backshop & Facility Maintenance

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cart storage areas, back shop, parking lot and staging areas including sweeping, garbage sweeps
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Set up and maintain practice areas (range balls, mats, tee markers)
- Assist volunteers and golf staff with operational tasks related to daily play
- Monitor course conditions and report issues to golf management
- Washing and drying cleaning equipment and towels
- Range set-up and closing daily, cleaning golf balls, range picking – driving and by hand.

Operational Support

- Follow daily task lists and operational checklists




- Work efficiently during peak periods to support tee-time flow
- Adhere to all club policies, safety procedures, and operational standards
- Greet and direct members and guests where they need to go
- Assist with tournament/event set ups and takedowns

Qualifications & Skills

- Ability to work independently and follow direction with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 30+ lbs
- Standing and walking distances for extended time periods
- Physically capable of lifting golf bags and equipment
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Prior golf or grounds experience an asset but not required

Working Conditions

- Primarily outdoor, hands-on role
- Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays required
- Fast-paced during peak golf periods
- Exposure to outside elements including heat, cold, winds, rainfall, lightning, pollens and dust
- No cellphone while on duty

Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Seasonal Pay: From $17.60 per hour
