Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests, ensuring timely and friendly service.
- Use POS (Point of Sale) systems such as TouchBistro to process orders efficiently and handle cash or card transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management and prioritization.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests warmly, addressing inquiries, and resolving any concerns promptly.
- Follow all food handling procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure dining environment for everyone.
- Network with people to build a guest list of new or returning customers.
Experience
- Previous industry experience is preferred; familiarity with bartending or serving roles is a plus.
- Experience using POS systems such as Touch Bistro or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in busy settings while maintaining high-quality service.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of the food industry standards related to hospitality, food safety, and responsible alcohol service is desirable.
