Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic options
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Manage cash transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring accuracy in billing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety at all times
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to keep the bar fully equipped during shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and a lively atmosphere
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or food service roles within a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating drink recipes
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Previous restaurant experience is highly preferred; hospitality background is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
