Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. We're looking for a Bilingual Claims Assistant II to join our growing Casualty Claims team! This is a 12-month contract role.

You will be responsible for providing administrative assistance and front-line quality customer service in the settlement of insurance Claims. This role can be located in our Toronto or Ottawa office. Prepare forms and correspondence to insurance clients, vendors and legal representatives.

Provide various administrative support such as photocopying, scanning, PDF splitting. Open current, unverified or converted claims using historical policy information. National casualty claims assignments for West, Atlantic, Ontario and Quebec regions.

National large loss claims assignment including: historical abuse, bad faith, sensitive media claims, etc. Process payments on claim files. Identify process improvements to management. Greet customers, as required.

Requirement - French and English speaking High School or College Diploma including business/administration training or any combination of equivalent education and experience. Minimum of 1 year of work experience. Effective communications skills with an emphasis on customer service.

Strong computer skills of with standard office applications including strong data entry skills.
