Elu Wellness is a busy and growing wellness clinic conveniently located across from Metrotown in Burnaby. We provide Registered Massage Therapy (RMT), acupuncture, physiotherapy, and other wellness services in a modern, professional clinic environment.

We are currently looking for Body Workers who are actively enrolled in a recognized Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) program.

This position is ideal for RMT students who want to gain valuable hands-on experience working with real clients in a professional clinic environment while completing their education.

We are looking for students who are professional, dependable, friendly, and passionate about massage therapy and helping clients feel their best.

This is a great opportunity to develop your hands-on skills, build confidence working with clients, and gain practical experience before becoming a Registered Massage Therapist.

Responsibilities

As a Body Worker at Elu Wellness, you will:

- Provide professional relaxation and wellness-focused massage/bodywork treatments within your permitted scope
- Discuss client comfort, treatment goals, and areas of concern before treatment
- Maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality
- Maintain accurate client notes when required
- Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and ready for clients
- Follow clinic hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Provide friendly and qualified customer service
- Work collaboratively with RMTs, acupuncturists, physiotherapists, reception staff, and other members of the Elu Wellness team
- Continue developing your massage and client-care skills while completing your RMT education

Requirements
- Must currently be enrolled in a Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) school/program
- Strong interest in becoming a Registered Massage Therapist
- Professional and reliable
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working directly with clients




- Able to maintain appropriate qualified boundaries
- Willingness to learn and receive feedback
- Available for regular scheduled shifts

Duties

- Support licensed massage therapists by preparing treatment rooms and assisting during client sessions
- Learn and observe proper massage techniques, bodywork procedures, and client care practices
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of treatment areas in compliance with health regulations
- Engage with clients professionally, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued throughout their visit
- Manage appointment scheduling, client check-ins, and follow-up communication with professionalism
- Assist with administrative tasks such as maintaining client records and treatment logs
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service

Requirements

- Currently enrolled in an approved Massage Therapy or related program, working towards RMT certification
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to bodywork and massage therapy
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members
- Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service in a wellness setting
- Ability to follow instructions carefully, maintain professionalism, and work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new techniques, adhere to safety protocols, and develop your skills further
- Previous experience in customer service or healthcare environments is a plus but not mandatory
