Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and personable Braider to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling, excellent customer service skills, and a keen eye for sanitation and cleanliness. This role involves creating beautiful braided hairstyles, assisting clients with their hair needs, and providing a welcoming environment at the front desk.

The Braider will play a key role in enhancing client satisfaction and promoting retail sales through effective communication and upselling techniques.

Duties

- Perform professional braiding services tailored to client preferences and hair types
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all styling areas
- Provide exceptional customer service by listening to client needs and offering expert advice
- Assist at the front desk with scheduling appointments, check-in/out procedures, and client inquiries
- Upsell hair care products and retail items to enhance the client experience and increase sales
- Educate clients on proper hair care routines and recommended products
- Ensure a welcoming and skilled environment for all clients during their visit




- Keep workstations organized, sanitized, and ready for each appointment

Skills

- Proven experience in hair styling, specifically braiding techniques
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Knowledge of sanitation standards within a salon or beauty environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently without being pushy
- Basic retail sales experience is a plus
- Front desk skills including appointment scheduling and client management are desirable
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for beauty and hairstyling

Pay: $39,006.28-$135,812.32 per year
